AA: What does sisterhood mean to you? What have you learned from being in a sorority?
Sisterhood is everything to me. It’s been my light during the hard times. The women of Kappa Alpha Theta have kept me grounded in who I am and that is something I will take with me forever.
AA: What inspired your design ideas, and what has been your favorite part about working with Ali &Ariel?
I love A&A because of the beautiful, imaginative, inspiring souls that work here. They’re always so generous and care about each design and project as if you are the only person they are working with.
AA: What is your best piece of advice for young women?
Treat others with kindness and respect. There is such beauty in selflessness and thoughtfulness. Seek out ways to care for others such that they cannot repay you.
AA: What are some of your personal goals? Do you have any current endeavors you’re working on?
I’m actually leaving today to study abroad for a year in Italy! I’m stoked to travel the world and learn more about Italian culture. I’m also really excited to launch my multimedia blog savannahwix.com, which will focus on living abroad and experiencing life to its full potential. I’m always creating new content so be sure to check it out in the next few months.
AA: What are the 3 character traits you value most in someone else?
Honesty, ambition, and an adventurous spirit. Honesty to others and yourself, being true to who you are without regrets or fear. Ambition being the ability to dream openly and always strive for more— your sisters will always support you! And an adventurous spirit because life would be pointless without getting out of your comfort zone. This is something I definitely try to live by, hence why I’m moving to Italy for a year!
AA: What is your number one beauty staple?
My Foreo! It’s the best face scrub brush I’ve ever come across. My skin has cleared up so much that I’m now comfortable not wearing foundation. Blessed.
